Welcome to the City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation Volunteer Program!
As a parks and recreation volunteer, you are the heart of the community. Please follow these steps to become a volunteer:
1.) Click the “Join” button to fill out a one-time volunteer application/interest form and to access all available volunteer opportunities.
2.) Join one or more of our subgroups. Groups include:
a. Events Volunteers | GivePulse: Volunteer for festivals, special events, sports tournaments, and more.
b. Moccasin Lake Nature Park | GivePulse: Volunteer at Moccasin Lake Nature Park as a general park volunteer or a raptor sanctuary volunteer.
c. Rec Center Special Volunteers | GivePulse: Be a CIT, tutor, junior lifeguard, class assistant, coach, coaching assistant, or a scorekeeper/clock monitor.
d. Parks Beautification Volunteers | GivePulse: Volunteer for painting projects, cleanups, invasive plant removal, or participate in the Adopt-a Program, through which any individual or group can adopt a park, street, or trail.
3.) Keep an eye out for an email from our volunteer coordinator with additional steps (including but not limited to background checks, orientations, etc.)

**Are you looking to fulfill Court Ordered Community Service Hours? **
The City of Clearwater is no longer able to provide court ordered community service hours or verification. Please contact the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for direction to organizations offering accommodations at 727-582-6200.
